@Hoppe1943 @MKSchmidt30 Can't speak for OP but I might personally still use twitter for automated reposts/generic updates and keep all the interesting stuff a la diaries and WIPs in the objectively better social media.

@omiosures @MKSchmidt30 Why is it this 'either Twitter or Bluesky'? I don't understand this from a marketing standpoint. Why not use both? The more you promote your games the better. Especially for indy devs this should be important.

@Hoppe1943 @MKSchmidt30 It's a steady growing platform with potential for thousands of followers, the earlier devs move the better. AI training can't be opted out on twitter, which is a massive turn off for many devs. You can't post links/certain words here without compromising your engagement, either.

@MKSchmidt30 I don't understand why you are leaving. Shouldn't a game developer try to reach as much potential customers as possible? Twitter may be harsh sometimes, but Bluesky is an echo chamber. I am very sorry, I love your games, but I will not follow you there.
