I understand he wants to play with the GK as an extra outfield player in possession, however we simply don't have the goalkeepers for it. Adapt to that. Just because Filip is better at short-passing than Sanchez doesn't mean he's good enough to actually play this way. You use him instead of Sanchez and what does he do today? He costs us a goal doing exactly what you feared Sanchez would do. The Kvaratshkelia goal as well – a routine save for Sanchez is a goal against Jørgensen. Sanchez was one of the best pure goalkeepers in the Premier League and a leader in the group but you cast him away for a below average, error prone GK with a weak mentality. He should have played on the strengths of our players until the end of the season, when we would have a chance to make changes to the squad. Now we can't because Sanchez's confidence and momentum has been wrecked. He's talking about our players constantly shooting themselves in the foot but my God have you not topped that with this.
