Casual Workers Struggle Without Pay as COSEKE Kenya Profits Soar from Government Contracts As an independent outlet, we have consistently been at the forefront pushing for much-needed reforms and exposing systemic injustices across various sectors. Our commitment is to amplify these voices of the oppressed and report on countless cases as we play our part in holding these entities accountable. COSEKE Kenya is an IT solutions specialist company situated in Upperhill, Nairobi, that deals with digitization and data entry, employing numerous casual workers under contract. Unfortunately, it has come to our attention that they have been engaging in the despicable practice of using casual employees without paying them. This is not an isolated incident but rather part of a troubling pattern of exploitation that demands immediate attention and action. An employee who spoke to us exposed severe mistreatment of casual workers who have not received their salaries since January this year. The company allegedly continues to withhold payments from its workforce even as it secures lucrative contracts with government entities such as KEBS, KUCCPS and the National Land Commission. According to the whistleblower, who spoke on condition of anonymity, employees have been left in severe financial problems due to COSEKE's failure to honor their contractual obligations. "Most of us had to stop working because we couldn't sustain our basic needs without being paid," the insider revealed. A leaked internal memo dated July 5th, 2024, from COSEKE's Human Resources Manager, Prudence Wambui, acknowledged the payroll issues but provided little reassurance to the affected employees who now remain sceptical as no concrete timeline for payment has been provided.

Wamenifikia. Been waiting for these. So that's how Equity Bank operates. Threats and fears. A whole 5 page pdf "subpoena" to stop defamatory tweets against them? First and foremost, Equity Bank ni bank ya wezi. Furthermore, it will allow for numerous other cases to be reviewed.
