@OyesileJohn So sad that most Nigerians don't understand basic economic theories. I used to sell a unit of something at 1.2m in 2019. I sell it at 8.5m now because of the inflation. Why would I complain if something else is more expensive when I have increased the price of my goods too?

So much tears under this response to my well respected brother, @BolanleCole , who complained about the cost of a vehicle. People with no critical thinking whose bellies are their gods have descended on the post to curse and insult their parents. Some are even looking to hunt me down. World over, prices of commodities are not static and they are oftentimes in upward reviews years in, years out. People who have positive things going on in their lives are always on the move establishing new means to keep up with an everly costly living. Anyone who could afford a 26m naira car in 2023 will probably be able to afford double now because their incomes are not static. Only if you struggled to buy in 2023 will you struggle now because as of then, you never needed it. This is my advice to wailers, nobody is coming to make life easier and neither will you be saved from your misery by Obi or anyone. If your life is miserable now, you will probably be more miserable even if Jesus were the president with free bread. Get up and think. In the same economy where you sit and cry, loads of people are solving problems and cashing out. Cry till thy kingdom come, Obi will not be president.
