Possibly an unpopular opinion, but I like that DK is: - Strong, but not top-tier-strong - Simple, mechanically - Easy, execution-wise - Has gimmicks but nothing that rewrites the game’s basics We’ve needed a pick up and play character (Marth & Sheik are not btw) for a while

While many of people who gave this style its meaning were WASP, the tailoring was done by Jewish immigrants. Black jazz musicians also gave the style a sense of cool. I can't cover all of American tailoring history in 20 tweets but it's wrong to reduce it to elite WASPs
