It’s illogical to compare these two based on raw screen counts alone. Raja Shivaji is a Marathi-focused release that maximized its impact where it matters most, running a massive 6,500 shows daily across 1,648 theater. On the other hand, Chhaava is a pan-India Bollywood production with a massive Hindi-belt footprint, which naturally commands 16,300+ shows. A regional epic saturating its home market is a massive success in its own right; you can't measure a film's 'better' performance without accounting for the massive difference in distribution scale and target demographics.
