Now England manager at World Cup Graham Potter: Sacked after taking Chelsea to quarter finals of Champions League. Now Sweden manager at World Cup Frank Lampard: Interim manager, has just taken Coventry City to Premier League for first time since 2001. Maurichio Pochettino: Sacked after arguing with Chelsea’s 263 Directors of Football and a 6th place finish. Now USA manager at World Cup. Enzo Maresca: Sacked after winning Club World Cup, UEFA Conference League and top four finish. Currently enjoying his payoff and favourite to replace Pep if he leaves City this summer. Liam Rosenior; Sacked after four months. The common issue is that it’s Boehly (former Sporting Director of Soccerball at Chelsea) and Egbali making these decisions. Perhaps, just perhaps, turning Chelsea into a hedge fund experiment isn’t a good idea. Who wants to be the footballing equivalent of Married at First Sight?

@daniellloyd1 In all seriousness how is it good? Part of the fun of cycling was that you have specialists that make different races a different puzzle to figure out. I don't enjoy watching the same small group of riders win all year round

Best result in a monument: Alberto Contador: 9th Nairo Quintana: 9th Chris Froome: 36th It's easy to forget that there was a generation or two where classics and Grand Tours were almost two entirely different disciplines. Whether you enjoy watching Tadej Pogačar dominate the one day classics or not, he has set a very good precedent for future pros - winners of Grand Tours can and probably should race monuments (even cobbled ones). That's the thought process that future greats will have as they're growing up, and that's got to be a good thing.

I’m sorry, I used to think the “conspiracy theorists” were just nutters. This week I’ve decided we were conned. Hear me out. That 1969 spacecraft I watched on my black and white TV had less computing power than your wristwatch, less than some thermostatic controllers I have on my walls. This week NASA sent a $93billion spacecraft to *orbit* the moon, just orbit, in preparation for an actual moon landing in a few years time. Why on earth would it take us 57 years, and a $93b test flight, with the compute power and comms facilities we have today, if we’d already done it successfully, once before, with so little, 57 years ago. Nah, I’m now with the conspiracy theorists.
