If the rumours are true, and 9 more MPs cross after the by-elections on Monday, that is scary and sad. Going from a 169 seat minority to a 182~183 seat majority in 6 months is scary for our democracy. I don’t think people will be happy if that comes to fruition.

People, democracy doesn’t come to you on a silver platter. Look, you got to raise your voice and keep fighting back, and raise awareness. This beautiful and vast country needs nurturing and it needs your devotion to gain back what was once a great true white north. You’re right ,Modern Christianity has lost its full power because it stems from the Catholic church… however if you were to choose to read about the Council of Niece in 325 AD and other historical records, you’ll soon discover the Catholic Church changed the original church of the Bible into a world domination system that realized that the best way to control people is control their beliefs

Genuine question.
If Alberta is strong enough to support itself and seek independence at this time, then why should these even have to be asked?
For the record I AM pro independence, but we need to actually recognize and work on the weaknesses that realistically DO exist so we don't end up trading one problem for another.
If Alberta wants ANY chance of succeeding as an independent nation it MUST learn to stand on it's OWN, otherwise we may as well just work towards the idea of Statehood within America itself which could offer better independent options which come with statehood.
