Opposing a deal with the Islamic regime = wanting American soldiers to have a ground operation in Iran and/or acting “on behalf of Israel” 2. A deal with the Islamic regime that includes billions in sanction relief = “peace” in any substantial way 3. Criticizing Trump’s policies = being “foreign funded” (on the left or right) 4. Supporting regime change in Iran = “Fighting a war for Israel” 5. Israeli and American agreement on the danger of Iran = Israel “forcing” America/Trump into action BONUS 6. Military conflict with Iran = “Thousands of American soldiers will die” These are all weak, unsubstantiated, and bad faith claims made by those with either a. ulterior motives or b. a refusal or unwillingness to think critically and with nuance.

If President Trump actually agrees to the deal being discussed it would be worse than the JCPOA for the region and the world and will likely define his legacy as that of weakness and failure.

The islamic regime in Iran tried to murder President Trump's daughter, using a proxy terrorist which is their usual method. They have the audacity to do this while negotiating a "peace deal". It's time to obliterate them from Planet Earth. Enough is enough.

FACT: No one’s gonna remember Trump eliminating Khamenei if he makes a deal with this terrorist regime and abandons the 90 million people he promised to help liberate.

The rumored 60-day ceasefire — with the belief that Iran will ever engage in good faith — would be a disaster. Everything accomplished by Operation Epic Fury would be for naught!

If a deal is struck to end the Iranian conflict because it is believed that the Strait of Hormuz cannot be protected from Iranian terrorism and Iran still possesses the capability to destroy major Gulf oil infrastructure, then Iran will be perceived as being a dominate force requiring a diplomatic solution. This combination of Iran being perceived as having the ability to terrorize the Strait in perpetuity and the ability the inflict massive damage to Gulf oil infrastructure is a major shift of the balance of power in the region and over time will be a nightmare for Israel. Also, it makes one wonder why the war started to begin with if these perceptions are accurate. I personally am a skeptic of the idea that Iran cannot be denied the ability to terrorize the Strait and the region cannot protect itself against Iranian military capability. It is important we get this right.

According to Al Jazeera, the Iran deals includes unfreezing billions in Iranian funds, lifting U.S. blockade, pulling U.S. forces away, reopening strait of Hormuz though with tolls to Iran, and allowing Iran to keep its enriched uranium. This would be a total U.S. surrender.
