Call me. 0406 852 054 Brett Murrell — Moral Majority Party candidate for **Farrer** by-election, 9 May 2026. 200 REASONS why the SBC - NEW DEAL is Australia's Future (see in posts below). The Sovereign Build Corporation (SBC) isn't just another infrastructure proposal; it's our comprehensive response to the interlocking crisis Australia faces right now and into the 2030s: skyrocketing energy costs, chronic water insecurity in the south, housing unaffordability locking young families out of ownership, regional decline as people crowd the coasts, looming AI-driven job displacement, accelerating climate impacts, and the risk of falling behind in the global clean-energy and compute race. This is Australia's Bradfield Scheme for the 21st century — powered by the world's best solar resource, integrated corridors, and citizen dividends. Abundance, not sacrifice. What the SBC achieves in one integrated build: -- Links Australia's isolated electrical grids for the first time — uniting the eastern NEM with WA and NT through HVDC corridors, delivering national energy security and $8–15B/yr in immediate savings from east-west solar arbitrage. -- Creates a true national gas grid — connecting Beetaloo, Timor Sea, North West Shelf, and Cooper Basin supplies to permanently resolve the east coast gas supply crunch and ensure reliable, affordable flow nationwide. -- Delivers the world's cheapest clean electricity at 6¢/kWh on the corridor — halving household bills (from current ~$1,800–$2,100/year averages), reviving aluminium, steel, and green hydrogen industries, and making coal uneconomic by Year 5. -- Revolutionises water security — capturing 30,000 GL/yr of northern rainfall and gravity-distributing it from the Alice Hub to end Murray-Darling over-allocation conflicts, triple irrigated farmland, and provide drought-proof abundance. -- Builds ~200 new inland towns — every 100 km along 20,000 km of corridors, featuring maglev/hyperloop access, town lakes, affordable housing, local jobs, and a growing Citizen Dividend shared by every Australian. SBC Brief Link drive.google.com/file/d/1bAYE8b… SBC Prospectus Link drive.google.com/file/d/1SQTTFj… This is the NEW DEAL Australia needs! #BradfieldScheme #Farrer2026 #AustralianFuture #WaterSecurity #EnergyRevolution #HousingCrisis #RegionalRevival #BuildIt #SBCNewDeal @abcnews @7NewsAustralia @newscomau @9NewsAUS @skynewsaust @smh @GuardianAus @abcnewsregional @9NewsQueensland, @9NewsAdelaide @theaustralian @skynewsaust @smhor @theage @GuardianAus @SBSNews @ABCRiverina @TheBorderMail @TheLandAU @WeeklyTimesNow

🇨🇳 The fastest train in the world The Chinese ultra-high-speed maglev train, which reaches a speed of 600 kilometers per hour (373 miles per hour).. It can reduce the travel time between Beijing and Shanghai to only two and a half hours. The train operates using magnetic levitation technology, and it is extremely quiet and efficient, and does not produce any direct pollution emissions.

China’s first 550MW F-class gas turbine has completed a 168-hour full-load trial run. This is not just another power plant story. Heavy-duty gas turbines are the core equipment of large gas-fired power stations, and for a long time this field was dominated by a handful of Western companies. What matters is simple: China is now pushing deeper into the part of the energy equipment chain that used to be hardest to localize. Not just building power stations. Building the engines of them.

Shocking confessions from a former Lockheed Martin executive, the manufacturer of the F-35 fighter jet. Nalan Yazgan, a Turkish engineer who worked as an executive director for one of the F-35 fighter jet projects at Lockheed Martin, made some interesting statements about the F-35 fighter jet. "If Turkey had acquired the F-35 fighter jets, we wouldn't have been able to even take off with them because of the software. In fact, we shouldn't have taken off with them at all." "The F-35 fighter jet transmits information about all military elements located within a specific country to the United States and Israel instantly and in real time." "It is worth noting that there are opinions from Turkish engineers who worked on the project who say that if Washington decides to cut off communication or updates to a country, the aircraft literally becomes a 'piece of metal,' unable to perform combat missions or even routine maintenance."

@RositaDaz48 Most of the formations are tight, thus they need "fracking",,, get it now. NT has allowed fracking, but we now call it hydraulic stimulation, to not upset people. and yes, fracking can be done safely, without destroying the environment.

Did you know that Australia is sitting on 43 years of fuel security in those orange basins on the map? 17.5 billion barrels of recoverable oil confirmed in the 2013 EIA report (US Energy Information Administration). We're importing 90% of our fuel while this goldmine sits locked away thanks to decades of political betrayal by impotent Liberal and Labor governments. Mining our own fuel will deliver similar or slightly cheaper(!) pump prices than what we're used to throughout 2025 It would take 8–15+ years but hey, that's exactly why we should've started yesterday. Will the current fuel crisis finally wake us up to ditch all the green virtue signaling, if only for our own survival? As a huge Tesla fan (and ex-employee) who loves the idea of electrifying everything, I say we need to: 🇦🇺⛽️ DRILL BABY DRILL ⛽️🇦🇺

@chrisprimod Contact your MP. Get them moving on it now. Australia's WWI referendums in October 1916 and December 1917, both rejected by slim margins (48.4% and 46.2% against), blocked overseas conscription and reflected deep public divisions on imperial war obligations.

I would rather spend 10 years in solitary confinement listening to Abbie Chatfield rants on repeat than fight for Israel.

The average adult height in China and the US is now roughly equal. Many have not fully realized just how much China has grown—in this case, literally.

🇺🇸🇮🇷 The Navy's biggest embarrassment just became its most useful weapon The Littoral Combat Ship was called floating garbage. Cracking hulls. Gearboxes grinding to dust. Ships decommissioned before they saw combat. The Pentagon tried to scrap the entire program. Now an LCS trimaran is inside the Strait of Hormuz launching expendable attack drones into Iranian air defenses from its flight deck. Cost per drone: less than a pickup truck. While billion-dollar carriers sit safely in deep water, the ship nobody wanted is running the mission nobody else can. Source: Navy Decoded on YT

🇺🇸🇮🇷 The ugliest plane in the Air Force is the perfect weapon for Hormuz The A-10 was built for exactly this kind of fight. It flies low enough to spot fast-attack boats hiding in coastal inlets, carries a 30mm cannon that fires 3,900 rounds per minute, and is wrapped in a titanium bathtub that shrugs off ground fire. It can loiter for hours waiting for IRGC boats to make a move. The Pentagon tried to retire it for years. Iran made it relevant again. Source: AiTelly

Mooloolaba Wharf - Zero Diesel Fuel available for 70 fishing boats. Don’t let them tell you there isn’t a fuel problem. There is. The much larger issues though, which will take a long time to fix, are the supply chain problems coming down the line.

Remember when we had a decade of LNP telling us EV tech wouldn't work, how's that going? Australian company now developing an electric combine harvester if only we could fund such development, instead of fossil fuels, and still suffering oil price shocks. linttas.com

Australia’s support for the US and its illegal war on Iran means no oil will be allowed by Iran to be shipped to Australia from the Gulf. Did any federal government ever tell you there is a cost for our alliance? abc.net.au/news/2026-03-2…

@mpcasey93o0 @PeterCronau article said 6, Bowen said 8 this morning. if you understand patterns, that is a indication that more will be cancelled in the future. Whether they replaced them or not, we should plan for more cancellations and the reality that we can replace them in the future.
