@AKeenReader We should think and write wonder together sometime ❤️

All grading is done. I’m sipping one of Steve’s amazing cocktail creations: honey-gin lime gimlet. Reading an engaging research methods text. Dreaming of other ways of living-being-doing. #happyplace

@mightbeautistic I was in the woods, climbing trees. Hair matted, dirty knees. Peeking under rocks. Toads in my pockets.

Loving this quote from a co-researcher (aka ‘participant’):
“Reading the cover letter, I think, explained the activity well but left enough wonder for us to still not really know what was going to happen.”

Wonder as a ‘common, ubiquitous, and catalytic force that works to open up possibilities and make felt potential in and through everyday events and encounters’.
Byers in Wallace et al., 2022, p. 136
Lovely @onelittlejunco 💕

@AKeenReader @ehusci_louise @JoAlbinClark @Julie__Ovington @playbrarian I love this so much ❤️ I have a chapter in this book (starts pg. 135) you might find helpful. I was still in initial thinking/tinkering phase, playing with ideas about wonder and cite a lot of wonder scholarship. link.springer.com/content/pdf/10…

@ehusci_louise @JoAlbinClark @Julie__Ovington @onelittlejunco @playbrarian Lovely.
For me, it’s less about the knot, but more trying to explore how play, wonder and the space of possibilities are interlinked, interwoven, non-causal, mutually forming and informing.

Have decided to dwell in Wonder a little more. Thinking along the lines of a Celtic trinity knot of wonder, play, and the space of possibilities. Any fave readings or writers to recommend please?

@AKeenReader @katejstrom @PhilippaIsom @JFletcherSaxon @Sarahchave1 @JoAlbinClark @nikkifairchild2 @dianagracenz Would LOVE to chat about this anytime! So fascinating. Think curiosity belonging to the realm of the already actualized, wonder as a thresholding/relational phenomenon, becoming attuned to and moving with the virtual, or the realm of what else is possible ❤️

Seems like a conducive environment for reading ‘A Philosophy of Wonder’ (Parsons, 1969)
