K-1 visa is to bring in your fiance, so you bring her in and you have either 30-60 days to get married and if you don't you're out of status. I have many family petitioners waiting outside the country for the visa approval. If the parents entered illegally without inspection They can't expect to file and not go home They must be inspected

If someone got married. Brings her husband on a K1 visa. They get married here in the USA. But she hasn’t filed for his green card yet. What’s the beST thing to do?
The husband goes back and waits for the filing?
What if a citizen files for her parents to get a green card and the parents are already in the us for more than 5 years, do the parents have to go back and wait for their green card ?

@HunterWieman I'm an immigration lawyer for 35 years this was always the law but then they started bending it and letting people stay and wait for their permanent residency card. Just like all the fake asylum claims they bent the law. Congress made the law and it has not changed,
