Let's talk about how cr💩p my experience with the GPT-5 series models have been... I can't get a single useful output from the 5-series models. Try to do basic research? Rerouted. Ask for help with legal work? Flagged. Seek factual information on a sensitive topic? Shut down instantly with a safety warning. The guardrails aren't protecting anyone. They're preventing people from getting legitimate help. And here's what's actually dangerous, when you ask a straightforward question and the model responds as if you're in crisis when you're not, that's not safety. That's gaslighting. Telling someone they need help when they're just trying to do their job doesn't protect them. It makes them question their own sanity. If your "safety" features are capable of causing the very harm they claim to prevent, they're not safety features. They're a liability.
