While we can’t make people do or react a certain way, we can #Impact them. We all can be better to one another. Every human has a story and every human has needs. Simple actions can go a long way. Be kind and be caring. Open your eyes and ears and value your fellow man. ☮️

@Djoko_UTD This is the #Tennis club I dream of. And I don’t even like clay. Haha. Who needs RLP. If I move to the Cote d’ Azur, I’m joining for sure. I will learn to love clay or bury myself in it.😎

@uTobian This was being murmured for decades. It was even asked lyrically in song. Now it feels to be a full blown catastrophic reality.

We're trying to undo the coup d'état that happened in this country on November 22, 1963. The forces that aligned to remove the President that day have ruled the U.S. and the world ever since.

Trump says he needs another $200,000,000,000 for his war. Not for health care. Not for housing. Not for education. Instead, he's asking every family to chip in $1,400 to keep bombing Iran.

You didn’t understand my question/inquiry. She inferred the businesses are blaming citizens, not politicians. That’s how I took her reference “Chicagoans.” I think younger generations are fine with businesses leaving. They order online daily, not needing, valuing or respecting a lot of the “greedy businesses” you mention, and I’m certain they feel the same way about many of the politicians and their decisions. I understand some empty buildings are being renovated into apartments/lofts/condominiums, which will be stunning properties, and meet the needs of current times for society, and the taxes the city is trying to generate. Maybe new energy and attitude and thought and design is needed, when choosing to make more money, or choosing to make civilization better for all. Think rooftop gardens and buildings with some living space and work space. This is what young people in the city are envisioning for the future.

Businesses are in business to make money. If that is a deal breaker for you, stop reading. Businesses in Chicago are constantly under attack by politicians that claim they don't pay 'their fair share'. However, any business owner knows, businesses don't actually 'pay' taxes. They collect tax revenue from employees and customers and pass it along to the tax collectors. The taxes are passed along to consumers in the form of higher prices, shareholders in the form of slower growth or smaller dividends, or employees in lower wages. Once a business is no longer profitable or less profitable than they can be, they close shop or leave town. The evidence is the vacancies. You may cheer that the greedy business owners leaving your community. They take their tax money with them, giving the politicians less money to spread around. And the politician, then the city, swirls the drain of bankruptcy. Ask Detroit how that feels. That's where Chicago is heading.

Here's the catch: The Loop is second only to Midtown Manhattan. It's home to business giants like United Airlines, CME Group, and JPMorgan Chase. Its 1.5 square miles serve as the economic engine of Chicago but it needs our help. Office vacancy in the Loop has reached record highs at a concerning rate. More than 25% of downtown office space now sits empty and idle. This represents more than simply a loss for the real estate industry. It's an indicator that Chicago's business climate needs serious attention. We've spoken with the owners of many businesses, large and small, and many say the same thing. These businesses employ Chicagoans, pay taxes, and keep neighborhoods alive - but feel that Chicago doesn't appreciate them. We should. #chicago

Ignore the men and women and their families who lost their lives and loved ones? Ignore the men and women who are being sent to battle on the ground in barbaric fashion? No. Who is making all the money and who is incentivized to fight this war? All the people who have hundreds of millions and billions of dollars, and the people who believe they have a right to exist and live with the authority and rule they choose. They ignore and neglect the existence of most American citizens. And that’s wrong. It’s selfish. It’s lacking compassion and awareness. The people who want this war do not need more money, more power, more oil and more ability to manipulate markets in their favor. Religion should not be shoved down the throats of others and be classified as a reason for war. No culture, race, nor ethnicity is better than another. I’m so sorry for so many people who are destroyed by their governments. It happens in the USA every day. So many gave to this country and the country completely ignored them. I know men who worked until their bodies broke, they truly would die for this country but the government neglects their needs now that they’re older and can’t give and contribute like they used to. (Our government made a habit of demeaning blue collar workers and the work they did/do. They need more aid, sooner. They didn’t sit it glossy offices or leave at their leisure to cruise around on boats or bikes. They busted their asses doing manual labor, working in excruciating conditions all hours of the week. It’s heartbreaking how they are treated. It’s also no wonder no one wants to build a house or learn to fix something and use tools. They’re seen as low lifes, this is the way our country and government was set up.) Many elders refuse to acknowledge abuse that happened under their own roofs, which got us here, collectively, as a society. Most Americans do not, did not want this war. No man or woman should die like this in modern times. It’s unacceptable. There are better, more fair, more peaceful solutions. Feeding the egos of old men is the absolute worst act anyone can be forced to do. It is pure hell. It causes mass destruction. It never changes. It never will.

Some of the highest quality businesses in the world are trading at extremely cheap prices. Ignore the MSM. One of the most one-sided wars in history that will end well for the U.S. and the world. And we have the potential for a large peace dividend. One of the best times in a long time to buy quality. Ignore the bears.

I’m very against the war. I am anti war. Sending ground troops is barbaric to me. I don’t want young Americans to lose their lives, or for their families to suffer, feeling severe pain and loss.

Yes, I’m trying to call attention to this personal and professional emotional and financial rape and betrayal. I’ve been saying this. Among other interests I have, #DomesticBliss and #MaryMarksMedia are my own little nothing creations, but they’re mine. I own them. I hope I can use them to help myself and others. Volunteering and advocating, implementing change and making an impact where needed, is good work.

Every bit about this home was violated. My name isn’t even on it. I have no rights here. It is assumed they can just take over. This is so unbelievably pushy and cold headland insensitive. We don’t twang to see them here. This is for us. Not him and his sister and his clients. And their kids. Wow.

He was asked to make sure his sister didn’t barge in. He said they were cheap fucks, and would not. I asked if he would please talk to her. She barged in. He is telling lies. I don’t like it. And his sister really has some nerve. Yes, she as a therapist should be spoken about, for her unethical and greedy and selfish behavior. It’s not your money Jill. Anyone in my shoes would be feeling just like me, maybe worse. I know friends who have multiple homes, spend a lot of money, have a lot of freedom, don’t work, use their husbands’ business/office/credit card/company cards, to guide them and aid them in everything. If this were happening to them, they would be going crazy. Any mom/wife in my position would. But If they had siblings who were attorneys, I guarantee those sibling attorneys would be shoving it up his a** in a dark alley. And then they would all have a steak dinner together. When you’re told something about people, when they themselves tell you something that really strikes you, about themselves, you don’t forget it.

I will take ownership of my words. If I’m guilty of something, I’m guilty of telling the horrid truth about narcissistic abuse. He has been calling me and others, addicts, drunks, druggies, losers, and fat asses, for decades. He is a cheating, lying, abusive narcissist. He put his hand on me the night of 9-16-23. It wasn’t the first time he got physical with me. But it would be the last for sure. I was not taking him, his abuse, his cruelty, and his sister for another 30. He has made my two divorces from him and his sister pure hell. A lot of people are mentioned because that’s how narcissistic abuse works. They spend their life getting people to do things for them, with no regard for you. You do not exist.💔

Pathetic people. Can’t do a thing for themselves. If that were us, we would be told we were incompetent losers. This is why we are all so upset. Narcissistic abuse is what we endured. We were bullied in our own home. Others get their asses kissed and it disgusts me.

I will not be abused by him and his enablers so I am speaking up. He is trying to give off an impression that I don’t deserve my life and that I am not wealthy. I am not going to stop telling every detail about this corrupt abuser.

My life matters. What took place because of his abuse and his discrimination and his pushy sister and clients/enablers was the destruction of my life. I and my kids don’t want him and Jill and Teddy and Linda here. They’re all up his ass it is so gross. I want them out.
