@AaronBastani @HeracleanVision The centre is fine once you get away from new street. Brindley place/Jewellery Quarter/Chinatown etc. All vibrant areas with lots to do/see. Plenty of trendy suburbs too in the west/SW of Birmingham.

I can see Birmingham being sociologically interesting, but pretty skeptical of it's 'vitality' or merit in general. The centre is extremely devoid of personality and everything around it is a shithole. Where is this 'energy' I'm missing?

21-month-old Jawad Abu Nassar was detained alongside his father by Israeli forces in central Gaza — and returned to his family ten hours later, alone.
Doctors found wounds on his legs consistent with cigarette burns and signs of torture.
The Israeli military denies abusing the child, and says his father — who remains missing — was a Hamas member who used him as a human shield. It has not publicly provided evidence to support that claim.
