@SureBetFusion In his prime, there was no better golfer than Tiger Woods. His percentage of wins is far better than any other player

@SteveRRamirez @tspeterson40 Since this is a make believe question, I’ll give you a make believe and stupid answer. Neither. Then I would kill the guards and escape to my home and root for Dodgers, Rams, Lakers, Bruins and Galaxy

@JamesBrock1350 Yes. People who suggest an on-campus football stadium don’t understand how bad the infrastructure of streets is in Westwood.

There’s probably about 10k here at Pauley and it took an hour to drive from LAX area to Pauley. And some want to build a football stadium at UCLA.

@SteveRRamirez That’s the hope for Bruins fans, Steve, but it will take a few years to know for sure. People were saying same thing when Chip Kelly was hired. I are hope you’re right.

Bob Chesney UCLA football’s best hire since possibly Red Sanders came west in 1949…definitely since JD Morgan took a chance on a young OL coach named Terry Donahue in 1976.

@jasonwagnerfit @latsondheimer If he’s successful, by year three UCLA will start drawing 60-70,000 fans as it did during Mora’s first three years and if Chesney chooses to leave, there will be plenty of highly qualified coaches eager for the job.

@SteveRRamirez It does appear they violated the spirit of the rule at the least. They’re clever crooks.

@oneputteagle We will see what the conference does. USC already has a prior fine for playing a player it listed as out on the injury report.

Interesting to see what Big Ten will do. An obvious violation.
Terry McAulay@tjmcaulay

There are two issues here. The one you note, where it would be an unsportsmanlike conduct foul when the actual punter (#80) played that position later. The other is that if a player enters the game wearing a number other than listed on the game day roster, he must inform the Referee who would then inform the opposing head coach and make an announcement. I don’t have the game day roster but it would be odd if they were both listed as #80 and the QB is listed as #7 on the team roster. I didn’t hear an announcement nor did it seem the opposing coach was informed. This is also an unsportsmanlike conduct foul. The obvious problem with both rules is that it is highly unlikely the officials would know either of these happen on the field unless informed by the opponent. One would hope the Big Ten will address this harshly during the week.
