@ID_AA_Carmack To get creatives back, the platform would have to provide COMPLETE control of how their art and words are used with AI training, whether you agree or not. That's only one issue, but I think it would have the most significant impact to return users.

It would be nice if some of the Twitter diaspora returned. So many creatives, but also many developers, that generally enriched the experience are no longer active. Those that performatively left and those with a seething hatred of Elon probably won’t be back soon, but a lot of people just disengaged on vague cultural grounds that can be reevaluated. There are probably some technical tweaks to the algorithm that could make them more comfortable. I don’t mind the existence of independent echo chambers that people are happy within. There is only a problem when some echo chambers are allowed and others aren’t. Reach out to lapsed friends!

A request for @itchio: Please explain to the developers on your platform why payouts are taking much longer than the stated 10-14 days. Developers rely on platforms to set realistic expections and searches so far show no official communications from your platform.

@TheRavenArmed @Twitch Early in my stream yesterday, not counting the lurkers, I had 4 people chatting and only 1 viewer counted lol. There is evidence that their detection is flawed. @Twitch development team really needs to properly test these things before rolling them out to the masses.

Lurkers count @Twitch They matter. Saving money on ad revenue may be high priority but the majority of streamers not in the .0001% having their viewers slashed is affecting people’s mental health. Perhaps it shouldn’t. But when the stats are in your face and inbox every stream, it’s hard not to look. Not to feel like it’s your fault. Not to want to do/be better and not know how. Making money has always been the bottom line understandably as a business, but at some point, you could do a greater service to the integrity of the platform by catering to the 99% of streamers that are trying their absolute best.

Sharing information of your userbase should never be an opt-out scenario. If you're sharing your userbase information for "mutually beneficial business relationships", you are gaining something of value. How has this loophole not been considered? This is Warner Bros. btw.

Early in the morning Tuesday, my stepfather had his 3rd stroke. So far, the hospital has done fuck all outside of keeping him sedated and hopefully taking his meds. We are keeping our fingers crossed, but news of Ozzy and Hogan last few days is reminding me of our mortality.

I'm sick of all the scam group messages and bot accounts in my message requests, so DMs are closed. I hate this because I've met some genuinely awesome people through private messages whom I'd love to work with when the planets align, but this platform is infested with scams.

Playing Fallout 76 today with a new character and aside from some random CPU usage spikes that have annoyed the shit out of me, things have been pretty fun. No motion sickness from low framerates makes it much better to play.

I often question if things are my fault when things go wrong or people distance theirself. Feeling like someone you care about loved you one day and then the next day didn't is difficult to process. I hope that anyone who relates to this understands they aren't alone.
