Part of being a professional is having a stiff upper lip. He never attacked you for your looks. He just called your career mid. Why you'd even bother responding to a random person for such a nominal critique I have no idea. But you reacted the way you did and it made you like an asshole for it. Be like a duck unless they cut your check or are somebody you care about their words mean nothing and should roll off your back. You're a vet and should be a role model for the up and coming talent. I get fans can be asses but without them you don't have the platform you currently have. Going forward I'd recommend going with the mantra of is this even worthy of my time? If it's not let it go you have enough fans to defend you where you don't have to get your hands dirty. If you are going to respond I find proof of your accomplishments a much better response, because they're not debatable. Good luck and God bless.
