(NewJeans Must Apologize to Everyone They Harmed Before Making a Comeback) [Sports Seoul | Lee Seung-rok] There is one essential element missing from NewJeans’ comeback—and it is not the presence of former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin. It is an apology to the public and to those who were hurt. To mark the fourth anniversary of their debut, NewJeans released a special video featuring a four-member lineup, including Minji. This is effectively the beginning of their comeback. However, before NewJeans returns to the stage, there is one step that should have come first but has been omitted: a sincere apology for the words and actions they displayed during the exclusive contract dispute. NewJeans’ success was never achieved solely through the efforts of the members themselves. They became global stars thanks to carefully planned large-scale investment and the infrastructure of the K-pop industry. Yet when they became embroiled in conflict, they adopted an attitude that undermined the very K-pop industry that had been the foundation of their success. In Korea, they insisted they had been treated unfairly and actively sought relief from government institutions. However, in an interview with Time magazine, they made contrasting statements, including: •“We never expected the problems in the K-pop industry to change overnight.” •“Maybe this is the reality of Korea.” •“It seems like Korea wants to make us revolutionaries.” Through these remarks, they criticized not only the country but the K-pop system as a whole. They fully benefited from the system that gave them fame and wealth, yet when circumstances turned against them, they chose to disparage the K-pop industry. To this day, they have offered no explanation or clarification for those remarks. The damage inflicted on other groups during the dispute was also significant. As the conflict became a public issue—including Hanni’s appearance at a National Assembly audit after alleging workplace harassment—fellow artists became targets of intense public criticism. When former CEO Min Hee-jin directly mentioned other groups and dragged them into the dispute, the members remained silent and implicitly accepted it as part of justifying their own claims. Even now, with NewJeans’ four-member comeback approaching, they have not expressed even a single word of regret, despite those groups being their fellow artists under the HYBE umbrella. The hard work of ADOR and HYBE employees was also disregarded. When the members announced their departure from ADOR, they sharply criticized the company, saying: •“We can’t help but question whether HYBE truly cares about NewJeans.” •“HYBE only appears to us as an inhumane company.” These statements made it seem as though the countless hours of effort by employees working tirelessly behind the scenes for NewJeans’ success had been meaningless. The bigger issue is that, after failing to prevail in court, they have now returned to ADOR. As a result, the same employees are once again expected to produce NewJeans’ albums and manage the group—a deeply ironic situation. It is difficult to imagine the frustration of those employees, who must once again work quietly for the members without receiving so much as an apology. Music only comes alive when it reaches people’s hearts. If NewJeans truly wishes to live up to the title of “artists,” they should sincerely ask for the public’s understanding before making their comeback. Without genuine communication, it will be difficult for any song they release in the future to truly reach the hearts of the public. m.entertain.naver.com/home/article/4…

Hello everyone! I am another tokki delegating Hanni Base account. I will be deleting new ador content that was uploaded here. The admin is away at the moment and wanted to say this. After a talk between other bunnies, this account will no longer upload any official content regarding Hanni posted by the current ADOR state. I want to apologize for any anger or frustration caused by my selfishness and take full accountability for not understanding the weight and seriousness of the current situation and letting my own emotions of seeing Hanni again weigh over what she and the others are going through and my own morals. Thank you to those for reminding me where I should I stand and how I should act as a fanbase. This account will always support Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, Hyein. Delegate back!! Please let me know if we should upload an only hanni google drive or nah? or just want a link to 1 that’s already uploaded.
