They were talking in the spaces last night about who would you want to beat more, Valks, or Phoenix, and although we haven’t beaten the Valks yet, Phoenix last year was an absolute war zone, where half of our team got injured.

@shahartley Angel and AT are the top of poor officiating. Their drives to the basket contain a shoulder or elbow to move the defender off their spot . This is the same as the grab or hand check to the body, on the perimeter.

Things are different now because multiple players & coaches last year said the officiating needs to be changed. Kelsey Plum, Phee, Caitlin, Angel, Kahleah, etc. talked about it.
Cheryl had to be held back from going onto the court & was even ejected after Phee got injured by AT. Tyler Marsh, of all people, got ejected when he saw EWill get hacked by Aaliyah Edwards with the ref looking right at it & not making the call. Nate Tibbetts backtracked on his original comment about not caring much about the officiating to saying it needs to be consistent.
