The thing that winds me up about John Cage’s 4’33” is that if you want to put it on a C-90 to play over and over in your car, you can only fit it nine times on each side, with an awkward four minutes of silence at the end, which you have to fill with a different song. Maddening

Went for a walk. Been out of the house 15 mins, already seen a pair of grey seals and (I think) an osprey.

@amandajp17 Different bus. But... the National Express coach also had blue led lighting, slightly more subdued than this but intrusive nevertheless. Worst possible part of the spectrum for sleeping.

In a fit of holiday optimism I just turned off all of my alarms, the first of which was due to go off in 3 hours time. I'm rather hoping to be breakfasting in Greggs at Buchanan Bus Station by then.
