Ravens had just north of $15 mill of cap space entering day. Villanueva absorbs more than 50 pct of that. Ravens are going to need remaining $$ to do other things, take into season. Wouldn't rule them out on a vet edge rusher, but they'll probably need to create some space

Want to correct this because part of it was inaccurate. Villanueva's cap hit in 2021 is $5 million so it should leave Ravens with about $10 million of space. Still plenty to do with that money.

Okay, I was 1 day off. This is a sizable deal but I'm sure there's more to this than meets the eye. #Ravens AV offers: -pass pro competency; paired w/ Zeitler this is a better pass pro duo than 2020 -swing LT -veteran experience I trust Roman to figure out the run blocking.

@IcySutton Ravens should never draft recievers in the first round fr. I like Bateman's game, but I stg with hand on a Bible that his career won't take off till after his 4 years(5 w/ the option)in Baltimore. They are historically bad at getting good recievers in the 1st 🤣
