the older i get the more i just stop caring about posts dedicated to digging up every bad thing a creator has ever done. obviously genuinely harmful behavior deserves criticism, but internet culture has gotten obsessed with treating people like they can never grow or change. the reality is most people have said or done shitty things at some point in their lives. the difference is normal people weren’t documenting every second of themselves online for years while trying to entertain millions of strangers. if a creator posts content that exists purely to bring people joy, i think it’s okay to let it be that sometimes.
