Chelsea will not be signing a centre back.
Chelsea have arguably one of the deepest squads in the Premier League and there are a lack of options of the required standard available in the current market.
The bottom line is that Chelsea feel they have an elite squad made up of the right blend of youth and experience.

I don’t think they are closer to the title because you can’t win the title with the goalkeeper you have or CB’s, plus you will play CL & won’t be able to rotate the team like you did last season in conference cup. I look forward to my own lovely comments!

I don’t speak negatively about Chelsea, I give my honest opinion which hasn’t changed in the last 12 months. My comments about players not signing for them is to do with the revolving door at the club, were they just swap players with the same ability, it’s the same this summer

Tyler Dibling had 7 G/A in 2,215 minutes of football last season (316 mins per). Alejandro Garnacho had 21 G/A in 3,568 minutes (170 mins per).
A bid for Dibling was just rejected for £40m + add-ons. Chelsea want to pay £30m for Garnacho.
