I was asked by the New York Post late yesterday to respond to this situation, and I honestly didn’t know how to properly respond. Before anything, Cornell is just pathetic for the way they treated this situation. The only thing they did was comment on my original post saying “they are investigating” the situation. Not 1 person from Cornell reached out. Their whole goal in this was clearly to let it die down and hope people will forget. The thing they didn’t realize was this kid himself wasn’t going to keep quiet, so now everyone knows about their decision. My goal from the beginning wasn’t to get this kid expelled, as demonstrated in all of my actions. I never called for his expulsion, I never even revealed his name to start. My goal was to show the world a clear example of antisemitism, and the corruption of the college and Ivy League system in America. Obviously the whole story blew way out of proportion, and led to the whole world knowing who this kid is and what he did. For Cornell, a school with a Jewish president and a massive Jewish population, to take zero action here, not even put out a statement or anything, is absolutely pathetic. They should be ashamed, embarrassed, and understand that they are a big reason why antisemitism exists and will continue to exist. When something like this happens, and an Ivy League school just lets it slide, the message they are sending is that it’s okay. Hating Jews is okay for them. And that is a massive problem. Hate is never okay, and it should have consequences… or else it will never end. Period.
