I personally have no faith in the results of that last election. However, the people supposedly elected a Liberal minority government. Yet the floor crossers keep coming. This is unprecedented. I don’t think most of the chattering class understands quite how damaging floor crossers are to democracy. These floor crossings will change the outcome of the 2025 election and invalidate the democratic decision Canadians made to elect a minority government. This sends the message to voters that their vote doesn’t matter. And when we get to a place where voters feel democracy is illegitimate, we enter a very dark place.

Canada is about to be ruled by an unelected majority who have shown themselves to silence dissent through lawfare, financial sanctions, and excessive force. I admit, this one shocked me. Buckle up.

Today we learned that during COVID not only did our government lock us down, coerce us into taking a vaccine to keep our jobs, freeze the bank accounts of peaceful protestors, illegally use the Emergencies Act, but our military violated intelligence-gathering rules by spying and testing propaganda techniques on Canadians (Operation Laser).
