The deputy minister of roads and highways could not explain why his ministry has reawarded a road that only cost €25 million euros in 2017 for a renovation at €63 million. He had to send a text to a Director at the Ministry for an explanation but that explanation didn't come till the show closed. Armed robbers in government!

Fellow Countrymen and Women , what we do at the Ministry of Road and Highways is largely engineering. Don’t be mislead by anyone with a hidden motive. No contractor in Ghana has only one staff. I am told someone mentioned the name of a firm called Sanam (4 workers per SSNIT clearance) and Build Managers (1 worker). These are contractors with many active staff working on site currently. Disregard the disinformation.

Out of 107 contracts signed by the Roads Minister Hon. Governs Agbodza, non was awarded under competitive tendering. Contracts which were inherited have been re-awarded in 2025 - Sulemana Braimah (Fourth Estate)

A kilometer of road is costing USD $1.8 million? This is pure thievery. Under the NPP government, a kilometer was $550k regardless of the topography of the area. I am unable to understand why we should 3 times the amount NPP did a kilometer now that the Dollar is supposed to be down. Unless it's a hoax! @KAgbodza must be investigated!
