@Rubiks_Gus The thing is that these apps had dog shit RTP and were highly extractive. Not a good look when you’re building a consumer chain to onboard the masses. Also “just don’t use them” is a weak argument when these apps are addictive by design and pushed heavy by Abstract.

Just a random thought here, Abstract was hottest when gambling games were all the rage. They were being promoted and used a TON, causing lots of hype around Abstract. I personally have never understood the hate on gambling games when 99% of crypto natives just want to gamble. And if you don't like losing money on gambling games, just don't use them (like me).

Here's a summary of the feedback I got: - New apps to interact with on a daily basis. Should have a couple flagship apps for you very soon. - More focus on DeFi. We're in talks with several partners to bring more DeFi to the chain. In the meantime, the @Aborean team has been a fantastic foundational layer if you haven't checked them out yet. - Less focus on gambling apps. We've already done this, but perhaps people haven't been following along. Gambling apps can be hidden entirely in the portal and there's very little marketing push behind these apps nowadays. - An updated abs[.]xyz page. This will be updated very shortly with a completely overhauled design and mission statement. - Streaming changes. We're looking at a better system for streaming to help streamers get more reach so stay tuned as we roll out the new streaming system over the next few weeks. I appreciate everyone that took the time to comment, back to the lab we go.

Pudgy is consumer crypto’s trojan horse. Abstract the infrastructure. Aborean the liquidity engine. Everything else is just waiting to catch up.

Refresh to recaps: ▪️Vault buybacks: vaults buyback abx each epoch using fees collected as a veABX voter storing their voting power into vaults. ▪️Value ratio: the difference between emission outflows and new locks, fees and buyback inflows. Anything above a 1 value ratio means inflows generated more value than abx emissions distributed - net value creation for holders and the protocol. Capital efficiency is ahead of schedule this early into a 3,3 DEX, with some Aboreal catalysts to increase it even further…

The Reflex Upgrade ◼️ Introducing dynamic, auto-adjusting fees. Fees now auto-adapt to volatility - increasing during high volatility, decreasing during low volatility. ▪️LPs deepen + earn more ▪️Voters capture more fees ▪️Traders get less slippage Capital efficiency unlocked. Aborean.

how many people in crypto are aware that @goblintown literally built and shipped like a full blown video game on steam and it’s like a pretty good game (and it’s not a dumb crypto game)

I think there is much more deepness into the bigcoin protocol Starting by the backing from the Abstract core team My guess is that Abstract is full of mini games and NFTs but no utility Bigcoin is aiming to provide a launchpad through a mechanism called “merge mining” which, if successful, could be the runner that Abstract is looking for.

Let’s talk about Bigcoin on @AbstractChain — and how it might have gone too big, too fast to succeed. Here’s a deep dive 🧵 $BIG launched two months ago by @satoshibigmoto with a bold mission: Be like Bitcoin, but BIGGER. • Total Supply: 21M • Block Time: ~1.1s • Halving: Every 4.2M blocks (~54 days) • Starting Block Reward: 2.3 $BIG, halves each cycle • 75% of $BIG spent on miners/upgrades is burned Unlike Bitcoin, Bigcoin is fully on-chain, with no physical miners. Instead, you buy digital miners that generate hashpower. The more hashpower, the more rewards—but also the higher the upfront $BIG cost. What happened? $BIG skyrocketed from $0.02 to $3 in just 24 hours, then hit an all-time high of $18 within 3 days. Now, two months later, it’s trading around $0.76 — a massive correction from the top. The spike came too fast. Late entrants faced insane miner costs, while early whales dumped on them to ROI. The price outpaced the ecosystem. It felt like @satoshibigmoto wasn’t ready for this level of attention or valuation. He teased utility features (like merge mining, miner resale, etc.), but went radio silent for 15 days, now seemingly in “build mode.” My take Bigcoin isn’t dead. There’s a lot brewing: • Merge mining • Miner marketplace • Potential off-ramps or game integrations? But @satoshibigmoto needs to communicate more. Crypto moves fast. If the community doesn’t know what’s happening, they’ll assume the worst—even if you’re building. ⸻ What do you think about Bigcoin? Did it go too big too fast and the ponzi is over or are we still in the bigenning phase?
