Well, took 4hrs before we were finally able to take off. Delta crew on the plane was excellent. Delta de-icing operations at Seattle was not acceptable. No one should have to wait 4hrs on the plane before a 3hr flight.
@Delta We have been stuck at the gate 1.5hrs past the departure time and being told it will be another 1.5hrs at Seattle @flySEA because of lack of de-icing capacity. Delta is not meeting expectation today. Pretty poor performance!
The crew just went through the open the door and close the door procedure on the aircraft to comply with FAA rules on keeping passengers on the aircraft for over 3 hrs. Still no real ETA on actually de-icing the plane.
