I’ve made strides where I can laugh and smile seeing videos or listening to his voice but watching old performances where I can see how much he fucking loved to sing and perform shakes me a bit. I miss you jonghyun. You did so much for me. You did well.

There are days where I feel like I have healed enough from losing Jonghyun but anytime I talk about him with someone who doesn’t know who he is or just how much his existence meant to me when I was in my formative years I start to get weepy

@wifisweetheart Vocabulary is an exposure problem not a lack of dominance over how to construct a sentence in a particular language. I learn new words in English everyday as I read and study more tf

@wifisweetheart …. Ya know people who’s first language is English also have vocab issues? Like you can’t ask me to have an expansive vocab about topics I’ve never had the ability to talk about in Spanish yet. I know syntax and grammar don’t be so presumptuous no one is seeking validation here

@la_ROCA__ This is a perfect way to explain it. I have limited exposure in the types of situations I’m in. For me I have friends who want to talk about things about culture, history, art, and politics and I KNOW the word in English but I’ve never heard or used the word in Spanish

@opal_lines Me af. I think I need to read more? Honestly when u speak Spanish in mostly conversational/familial settings, intellectual discussions r a challenge or even flirting feels foreign cause u don't have that vocab. I get "stuck", my pronunciation is great, ppl ask when I moved here.
