Hey twitter! It's been a while. I've been having fun building a new Android app on the side that roasts you based on your phone usage. Anyone interested in beta testing it?

This week @kaushikgopal and I had the pleasure to chat @mitchellh on the pod🎙️! Refreshing to hear someone of his caliber bring such a grounded perspective to agentic coding. We also talked about Ghostty, and how terminal performance gains make tools like Claude Code possible. (He even explains what's behind scrollback perf issues). A lot of gems in this one. @IurySza I'm in love with Codex (both the model and desktop app)

You gotta zig when they zag. I was on Claude last year, now everyone moved to Claude and I moved to codex 💸

The benefit is that you catch important flaws early on instead of at code-review time (or later). This results in a better overall solution and a lot less code-review back-and-forth.

The reason this works so well is that subagents start from a clean context window. They aren't "biased" by the previous chat history, so they can look at the plan with completely fresh eyes.

I've been using @OpenAI's Codex a lot lately, and I find it amazing (both the model and desktop app). At this point, I think everybody knows that creating a plan is essential when working on larger changes. Here is what I've been using that makes it even better for me 👇

From the iOS 18 feature release documentation :) Soon we will hopefully hear people say "Truecaller finally works on iPhone". Even though it has worked fairly OK in the last 2 years, this time it will be just like you would expect Truecaller to work, end to end.

Really glad I could start a week earlier than planned because it would've been awkward to post on April 1st that I joined @vercel to work on @nextjs. I'm most excited about joining a team with incredibly talented people working on an ambitious product offering.

@GergelyOrosz At this point it really feels like all airlines apps (and websites) are just really bad

There are so many other examples across the app and the website: unnecessary and long redirects, the app failing to implement a sensible offline caching approach and many others. It’s clear there is no one building the app who either cares about the UX or (more likely) has enough autonomy to do something about it.

The KLM app is an example of what happens when a corporate becomes a “not my problem” kind of company, devs focused on their assigned task, nothing more. This is the screen I get when I hit log in in the native app. It’s an unhandled 403 HTML page (??). Such poor craftsmanship.

Gave away a bed that I didn't need anymore on @tradera for 1 SEK (less than 0.1 EUR) but now Tradera wants me to pay 2 SEK 🤦‍♂️ Thanks but I'll use another platform next time. I have other things to do than making 2 SEK payments 😂

Today was my last day at @Klarna! It's been both very challenging and rewarding. I was surrounded by some of the best engineers I've ever seen. Now looking forward to starting a new adventure 🚀
