Strengthening cooperation in futuristic sectors!
Prime Minister Rob Jetten and I witnessed the signing of the MoU between Tata and ASML for advancing the semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem in India.

India’s strides in the world of semiconductors offers immense opportunities for the youth of our nation. This is a sector in which we will keep adding vigour in the times to come.

These nearly 1,000-year-old plates from the reigns of Rajaraja Chola I and Rajendra Chola I record land grants, trade and administration of the Chola Empire.
The collection includes 21 large and 3 small copper plates bound with royal Chola seals.

Indian mangoes have been loved by Americans since years. In 2006 US President Bush was in India for a nuclear deal with PM Manmohan Singh, and what happened next is interesting. 🇮🇳🇺🇸👇🏻
> Indian mangoes were banned in the US for 18 years from 1989 due to pest concerns like fruit flies and weevils.
> During high-level talks in March 2006, President Bush tasted a delicious Alphonso mango offered by Indian hosts and loved it, calling it “a hell of a fruit.”
> This personal moment helped spark “mango diplomacy” as part of strengthening US-India ties.
> The US agreed to lift the import ban in exchange for India reducing tariffs on Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
> India also started irradiating mangoes to meet US safety standards.
> First commercial shipments finally arrived in New York in April 2007, ending the long ban and delighting mango fans.
The sweet result of "mango diplomacy" still reaches US stores today. 🥭
