Thing is in 2015 there was a perfect springboard for things to stay that way. Everyone independently releasing, blowing up and doing it THEIR way. It was incredibly authentic and the industry were scrambling to make sense of it. Once the labels came in it killed everything

Listen I’m not tryna condone his anti-semitism, but look at the final edit and the way they cut together all the bits to make him look crazy - these clips change the tone of that - whatever you think of him, the bias of the media is so evident to see, their mind was made up
