Mrs Chandler, a teacher at Walnut Grove Elementary in Olathe, posted this project for a reading and calming center and was FULLY FUNDED!! She posted her project on DonorsChoose and OPSF matched every donation 1:1! Post your project and see what happens!! We got you!!

📚️Packing 2,500 backpacks is just the beginning. Getting them delivered to 51 schools takes a strong and generous community. 🌟Thank you to all the volunteers who showed up to help, even in the 90 degree heat. Your time and effort make a real difference for Olathe students. 💚

🥇We’re grateful for our amazing Olathe community! After packing 2,500 backpacks, we rely on volunteers to help deliver them to 36 elementary, 10 middle, and 5 high schools. Thank you for giving your time, gas, and sweat on a 90° day—we appreciate you! 🙌

Day 2 of backpack packing is done. Huge thanks to Atmos for helping us pack all middle & high school bags and reset the gym for the new year. OPSF fills 2,500 backpacks each summer to help Olathe students start school ready to learn. We’re grateful for all who make it happen.
