Thank you @MainstreetCU in Downtown Olathe for the tour! First Graders learned about the role of banks in our community. We also walked around downtown looking for goods and/or services provided by local businesses.

OPSF dropped in this morning at Manchester Park to SURPRISE Katie Burke, a first grade teacher. She was awarded the E2 Award for May because she is a unique individual that truly takes that extra time to help her students grow. CONGRATS MRS. BURKE! Thanks Mainstreet CU!

Yani Reyes is a para at Woodland and she is the recipient of an April CEERA. Yani is kind to everyone and always willing to help any member of the team. She builds relationships with students through patience, and consistency. CONGRATS, MS. REYES! TY Mainstreet Credit Union!

We kicked off this week with an E2 for Elise Peterson, a choir teacher at OS. She creates a safe space defined by clear expectations, trust and recognizes each student’s individual personality. CONGRATS MS. PETERSON! Thank you Mainstreet Credit Union!

The OPSF awarded Marena Eaton an April E2 Award, a CBR teacher at Countryside. She wants them to learn what some would say they couldn’t. She is an excellent communicator, to the point, and treats her students with respect and love. Thanks to Mainstreet Credit Union!.

A huge thank you to our friends at @MainstreetCU for their support of Excellence in Education (E2) grants! Our middle school art programs are getting an upgrade. Next year every @theSMSD middle schooler enrolled in "Art of Animation" will have the tools they need!

OPSF surprised 2nd grade teacher, Jennifer Jewett, at Mahaffie with a Feb E2 Award. Mrs. Jewett makes school so much fun that her students don’t even realize they’re learning. She works very hard making lasting connections. Congrats, Mrs. Jewett! Thanks to Mainstreet CU!

Mainstreet Credit Union is excited to announce that on February 1st, the Olathe Schools Foundation recognized us as one of their longest-running partners. Over the years, Mainstreet has donated more than $400,000 to support the Olathe Schools Foundation and its teachers.

It was a very fun morning busting into an adminstrative meeting at the IRC today to give Math Administrative Assistant Kathy Brewer a January CEERA. Congratulations, Kathy! Thank you so much to Mainstreet Credit Union for supporting our teachers and staff!
