My friend @hamzadiazbtc and I built a little side project this week that really shows off @googlegemma 4, along with several other Google tools I think people are really sleeping on Google and how powerful their multimodal stuff is

Andalus is an Arabic-first Quran recitation app for Warsh that @johnennis and I built with @googlegemma 4. A user recites a short ayah, Gemma 4 transcribes it into Arabic, and then we match it back to the Quran using Google embeddings after cataloging and embedding every ayah. It’s running today on a single @runpod RTX 4090, and we think this is just the beginning for serious Arabic AI. PS: We used Lyria for the background music and Nano Banana for the art in this video.
