Yesterday felt like closure & at last a chance for him to rest & us to finally start to come to terms with it. I'm sorry you went through this too x

@orange_ade123 @hotchocolate43 So sorry to hear, my mum passed away 2 years ago with dementia,terrible and cruel illness, she didn’t recognise me the last 2 months yet she recognised my wife, felt like I grieved long before she died

Today my dad gave in to his long, brave battle with the cruelest disease, alzheimers. He is finally at rest. Night dad x

@rangerstickets5 Dad had been on a cocktail of medication since having a triple bypass nearly 40 years ago.... I don't think that was one of them though. He was diagnosed with alzheimers in his 60's. So young. I'm so sorry to hear about your parents x

@orange_ade123 So sorry for your loss x. My kids lost their Nan on the 16th Dec the same way. Its a very sad and cruel end for those who suffer with it . In some ways it's a blessed relief to see their suffering end .
