@Bodenseeperlen 1959 beim Kandidatenturnier in Bled und Belgrad war Larsen Fischers Sekundant. 1958 beim Interzonenturnier in Portoroz hat Larsen noch selber gespielt und gegen Fischer in einem Drachen krachend verloren. Die Partie ist in Fischers 60 Partien enthalten.
