@conenor @33MadCat33 @ABRLive @reredevaux @jose93_ortiz @PhippsStableFan i’m genuinely glad you believe women are equal, we need more people like that. but you’re taking a mental shortcut by treating ‘allowed’ as the same as ‘equal opportunity.’ i don’t think this conversation is productive anymore because we’re not acknowledging the same history.

@orangejags @33MadCat33 @ABRLive @reredevaux @jose93_ortiz @PhippsStableFan I want nothing more for women to be acknowledged for their success. Training a horse has nothing to do with being a woman. You should be fighting for the girl that beat a transgender in a race. But you won’t because you’re brain washed into thinking that makes you a bigot.

@conenor @33MadCat33 @ABRLive @reredevaux @jose93_ortiz @PhippsStableFan opportunity to win. that’s a social barrier, not a biological one. you could say this same thing 150 years ago and most men would’ve laughed and said women weren’t capable. that mindset is exactly why it matters when a woman actually wins. it’s progress, not proof we’re inferior

@conenor @33MadCat33 @ABRLive @reredevaux @jose93_ortiz @PhippsStableFan -women were incapable. look I’m not trying to attack you. my point is women didn’t have equal opportunities. even when it wasn’t officially banned, they weren’t taken seriously or given the same chances. that’s basically being shut out in practice. that’s why it matters now

@conenor @33MadCat33 @ABRLive @reredevaux @jose93_ortiz @PhippsStableFan no, my point isn’t that women couldn’t do it before. it’s that they weren’t given the same opportunities to be recognized and win at that level. you even said it yourself, they weren’t recognized. that’s exactly why it matters now. acknowledging progress isn’t the same as saying-

@conenor @33MadCat33 @ABRLive @reredevaux @jose93_ortiz @PhippsStableFan no one is denying money and influence exist, it’s an insanely rich sport, obviously. but acting like that cancels out the accomplishment makes no sense. women weren’t given the same opportunities in this space for most of its history, so yeah it does matter when one finally wins.

@conenor @33MadCat33 @ABRLive @reredevaux @jose93_ortiz @PhippsStableFan you keep changing the argument instead of just acknowledging the point. first it was money, then it was history, now it’s that trainers don’t matter. if it all ‘doesn’t matter’ then there shouldn’t be an issue with people celebrating a woman winning. that’s literally all it is

@conenor @33MadCat33 @ABRLive @reredevaux @jose93_ortiz @PhippsStableFan and this isn’t even just history, women around the world are still fighting for basic rights right now. so yeah seeing a woman win something like this matters. little girls get to see that and think maybe there’s a place for me too, and that’s something a lot of women never got

Pergunta honesta: Pq só o mamilo não pode mostrar? A mulher pode mostrar todo o peito, mas a pontinha não, qual o sentido?
