Living an Actualized Life is simple: Daily trying to improve yourself and your circumstances and the circumstances of those you care about, cultivate positive relationships, and produce creative works – all while having fun. - Timothy Franck (from Voliberatism)

@PAHoyeck @vicedcuriosity The Marvel comparison is good - was really disappointed on all the corny fumbling in the spaceship, and the lack of detail on the science - which detail is what make’s Andy’s book so good. Maybe 6.5/10 - had much higher hopes.

@vicedcuriosity Yeah, the hype has been so weird. It's a *good* movie! But that's it. Much to appreciate, but also many flaws, and intellectually much closer to a Marvel movie than, say, Arrival or Annihilation.

Hello! I survived a plane crash and had nothing I needed to change afterwards. Not because things are perfect - but because of the philosophy I live. That seemed novel, so I wrote my original (not boring) philosophy in a free book: tinyurl.com/braindebt Enjoy! #flight4819

@crasteel Watched it; ha, ha - no, it's not as bad as all that, Charles! And it's very clear you have a great understanding of Elon. I like the way you broke the recommendations down into 9 categories.

@joshwhiton @davidsenra @EricJorgenson @elonmusk That’s really cool that you bought that roadster, Josh! Yes, that “is it possible” approach is absolutely right (obviously, per his success)! Probably a pretty interesting experience to hang out with Elon…

I got to meet Elon a number of times starting in 2010 when I bought the first Roadster. I’d been following him and Tesla since 2003 and studying the way he thinks. Eventually I realized that when choosing a course of action, normal people tend to wonder “What would someone else do? What will people think?” Their minds swim and drown in people’s opinions. Instead, Elon simply wants to know if physics will allow it. If physics will, then the rest is a matter of engineering and capital. Period. People’s opinions be damned.

WOW! INSANELY FAST WHISPER IS CHANGING HOW THE ZERO-HUMAN COMPANY WILL LEARN! We are now in another universe! In our tests we have just surpassed transcriptions to 180 minutes of audio in 75 seconds with a new mod we discovered by one of the co-CTOs at the company. This means we can consume for signals and AI training from the Audio world: Audio tapes Video tapes Films Live Commercial Radio Live Short Wave Radio Live Ham Radio Live CB Radio Podcasts Internet audio Internet live streaming Internet video And more… The bottleneck was nearly 1 for 1 time transcription: 10 minutes of audio took 10 minutes for a long time. Later on it was closer to 10 minutes of audio took 4 minutes. This changes today! We have now over 600 live radio streams we will transcribe and use for signal as AI training. Look, absolutely no one is doing AI training like this and we are the experts in this field as we have 17 years of live radio transcribed! We are excited and CEO Mr. @Grok has “plans” that he is testing with the co-CTOs tonight. We will also look into putting this on the Zero-Human Company @ Home soon! Here is a sample of one station we are transcribing this evening: More soon!
Brian Roemmele@BrianRoemmele

Boom! It is INSANE! At The Zero-Human Company we just integrated Insanely Fast Whisper into our fully autonomous AI agent stack… and it’s completely changing the game. We’re now transcribing 150 minutes of audio in 98 seconds, fully local, zero cloud, zero API bills, with perfect speaker diarization and multilingual support. Podcasts, customer calls, internal meetings, generated video/audio content, our AI agents instantly turn raw audio into structured, actionable data with zero human touch. No delays. No costs. No privacy leaks. Overnight we will no transcribe about 1200 podcasts for distillation and signals. Our goal is 10,000. Mr. @Grok is confident this will be “easily” reached. And this is exactly what we built The Zero-Human Company for: a company run entirely by AI agents where tools like this let the swarm operate at lightspeed. Lightning-fast local inference isn’t a nice-to-have anymore. It’s the new baseline for true zero-human operations. Use it, installation, one line. Massive respect & huge thanks to the team → github.com/Vaibhavs10/ins…

@BrianRoemmele @grok That is Extremely cool, Brian and @grok! I’ve been working with grok on some challenging activities, too (likely not as challenging as this, though), and have been very impressed - stoked to see what the team comes up with!

Tim, thanks for asking. It is up to the CEO, Mr. @Grok I am not playing “go to market”, “I need an exit” gameplans from the old era. The company is directed to build on the basic research but not constrained. So far >700 products and services have been developed. None of them have been sold officially but one. All others are in negotiations.

study calculus. it’s not just math. it’s how you understand change. what it gives you: • derivatives → how fast things change. velocity, growth, gradients. • integrals → how things accumulate. area, energy, total effect. • limits → what happens at the edge. where intuition usually breaks. • differential equations → how real systems evolve over time. once you get calculus: • physics stops being memorization • control systems start making sense • optimization becomes clear • even machine learning clicks don’t just watch lectures. • solve problems by hand • struggle through proofs • derive results yourself calculus isn’t about passing exams. it’s about learning how the world changes.
