@sub_joqnix YouTube compresses uploaded thumbnails to a maximum public resolution of 1280x720. Even if the original was 4K, a downloadable 4K version does not exist on YouTube’s servers. Your best option is to upscale it yourself, like with Unlimited Waifu2x

is it not possible to fetch 4k thumbnail from youtube api?? it seems the maxresdefault url just maxes out on 1280x720reso? eh?? didnt youtube recently started to support 4k thumbnails?
