@JayObernolte Republicans – they spend like a drunken sailor when in power and whine about the debt and deficit when they're not in control of the Whitehouse. Abolish the tax cuts for billionaires to increase revenue and keep your hands off Social Security.

The CBO has confirmed the Limit, Save, Grow Act will reduce the deficit by $4.8T & as a consequence lower interest on the public debt by $500B. We must bring our debt under control & balance the budget. The bill passed by the House today is a strong step in that direction.

@Bennyficial1 @chesscom @chess24 Informally my recollection is that on average it’s been lower, but Games 7 and 8 have been very close to what it was in 2021 (barring the end of 2021’s Game 6 which felt like broke the internet)

Anne Coulter attacked me in the past using some pretty disgusting language and she is a conservative who I often disagree with. With that said, today she hit the nail on the head. She suggested we compromise on abortion and her idea is perfect: "Ban abortion for registered Republicans only" Who agrees?

Many chess fans asked how did my father make chess fun for me when I started out at 4 years old. The answer is it is NOT a one size fits all approach. It will never be. Each child is different. What was fun and fascinating for me may not be for other children. The bottom line if your children are enthusiastic and eager to learn chess, it means you are doing good. But if they look bored and show no interest, mix things up. Results do not matter early on. Once children are passionate about anything, it will become enjoyable, and chances are they will succeed. Good luck! ♟️🥰 👑 @FIDE_chess

Today I joined my House colleagues in passing the Parents Bill of Rights to put parents back in control of what their children learn in the classroom. Parents should have the right to a voice in their kid's education.

New: Rep. Buddy Carter confirms to me that his Fair Tax Act will get its first-ever floor vote as part of speaker talks. Bill abolishes IRS, eliminates tax code, replacing income taxes with consumption tax - rolling back pieces of GOP tax law It was a demand of the 20 holdouts

The more I dug into @GretaThunberg's story, the more I realized that something stinks here. It's no COINCIDENCE that her first appearance was on August 20, 2018, with a sit-in protest in front of the Swedish Parliament, followed COINCIDENTALLY four days later by the release of a book she co-authored with her mother. But that's not all - the PR machine for her was already in full swing on August 20, thanks to a man named Ingmar Rentzhog, who financed and drove the campaign through his company, @WeDontHaveTime. And guess what? Rentzhog is also COINCIDENTALLY the chairman of the think tank "Global Challenge" (@ChallengesFnd), which is now COINCIDENTALLY fully financed by a billionaire named Kristine Person, a member of the Swedish Social Democratic Workers' Party and former minister in the government under Stefan Löfven. And if that's not enough, Rentzhog purely COINCIDENTALLY happened to walk by the Swedish Parliament on August 20 and encounter Greta during her sit-in protest, taking a photograph of her. But wait, there's more - Rentzhog and Gretas mother had already met before at a climate conference on May 4, 2018, which is COINCIDENTALLY the exact date when Rentzhog became CEO of the aforementioned think tank. And here's something interesting - both Kristine Person and Stefan Löfven happen to be members of Klaus Schwab's @WEF. It's amazing how all these connections seem to come full circle, isn't it? It's clear to me that something fishy is going on behind the scenes here. These people are manipulating the public and abusing their power for their own political gain. We need to be aware of their tactics and warn everybody we know about the Great Reset and the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

@freyagoddess888 @Seanjkernan Pretty much an inverse of the working class, roughly 2/3 despised him. Yet once they saw what Hitler brought them, they went along with it.

This is one of the most powerful historical photos I've ever seen. They are Jewish prisoners being liberated from a death train in 1945. They were en route to concentration camps. They would have likely all been killed, many of them almost immediately. Allied soldiers intercepted it and set them all free. This train appears to be mostly women and children. Although 6 million Jews were killed in the Holocaust, many millions more were also offed because of the insatiable hatred of one man and his supporters. By the time this photo was taken, the passengers knew exactly what this train meant. You are staring at “the moment” these people realized they wouldn’t be dying in a group execution. I can’t even fathom the relief they felt. Relief isn’t even a strong enough word.

Here is my problem with the Laws against Drag Shows that DeSantis and Lee put forth in Florida and Tennessee. Why are they targeting the LGBTQ+ communities ? - It is LEGAL to bring your child into R-rated movies which show nudity and actual sex. - It is LEGAL to bring your kids to topless beaches in Florida and to Spring break where drunk college kids do far worse than drag queens, on PUBLIC property. But. - It is ILLEGAL to bring your child into a non-nude show where drag queens may or may not joke around about sex or dance in a sexual manner, clothed. These states are all about “parental rights” when it comes to education and religion but when they can use their power to attack minorities those rights fly out the window.

My opponent in this one offered me a draw twice. Position on the left was where the draws were offered. On the right was where I beat them. Question: was this draw offer disrespectful or valid? #chess #chesspunks

@LoverofSound21 @NavyTimes I've the Invisible War on DVD. I served in the USMC in the OSJA. I've seen the abuse of power and the convening authority's avoidance of accountability of his subordinates, which would reflect poorly on his leadership and damage his career prospects. Sorry if I offended you.

@orawczyk @NavyTimes I doubt that you know anything about rape in the US Navy. I doubt that you have bothered to watch The Invisible War, Justice Denied or read any book that survivors of rape have written. Just another one of the good old boys, let's rape women. Educate yourself before talking to me

Me to 12 year old: 'I think maybe I work too hard, what do you think?' Him: 'Well, you're never home and you work every weekend, and even on your 1 day off, you spend a lot of it dictating.' I think it may be time to go part time!
