Google Maps changed its URL from "https://maps [dot] google [dot] com" to "https://google [dot] com/maps". Looks like it's not a big deal, but when you grant the location permission in your browser you now grant it to the whole #google [dot] com domain. 🤨 #privacy #googlemaps

@amber1ey Actually, this is what tripped me up at the end. Starting out, things went pretty smoothly for the most part, except for when I had to go into gatsby-node.js to do certain things. E.g. why is pagination so hard? Can Gatsby have a better graphql primer?

@amber1ey Fancy you should ask: I ran into a few infinite reload bugs while working on this site. code.orbitsolutions.dev/orb-it-solutio… - iOS/Mac browsers and code.orbitsolutions.dev/orb-it-solutio… - I disabled the offline plugin because in Firefox that has it's privacy settings on it always reloads.

@CoolestCoder @SaraSoueidan I myself have a bachelor’s, but it’s in biology, not compsci. I think showing people actual code/products you’ve done will be the ultimate deciding factor. Some care, but code is king.

I'm considering stopping my studies because, after a student internship, my interests in academic studies have significantly dropped, and my desire and will to work increased. So here's a simple question: Do software engineers need a bachelor's degree to get the same pay/chances?
