The sheer number of privacy swap services, wallets, tools, blockchains getting an overhaul, etc. I've been seeing lately tells me one thing. Privacy is going to be huge soon.

Ethereum's long-term goal: Everything should be proven, nothing trusted. Every transaction, every operation, formally verified as correct. They're starting with ZK proof systems. The ambition is remarkable even if fully achieving it remains distant.

Tech companies lobby for: Weaker data protection laws. Exemptions from consent requirements. Looser definition of "anonymous." While patenting corporate encryption methods and privacy-preserving techniques. They know how to protect data. They choose not to protect yours.

"Ethereum needs to ship faster in order to stay relevant, otherwise other chains will take it's place" In a word, no. Anyone saying this still completely misses what value a public blockchain brings And it's funny because some will in the same breathe state that Bitcoin is different Again, no. Credible neutrality is the moat, not speed of shipping You know, for exactly the same reasons that you view Bitcoin as different And it's ironic because Bitcoin is objectively worse technology and this somehow becomes an apparent *advantage* as it doesn't get thrown in the technology bucket and isn't deemed like a 'startup' This is the curse of Alt-L1's and what VCs will have you believe a blockchain is It may be true for a number of projects, but it's not true of Ethereum That is the entire point Ethereum *is* different to your corposlop Ethereum *is* a Bitcoin competitor Ethereum *is* inevitable

Crypto is far bigger than most people can imagine Even today, most are thinking too small Crypto will swallow up the entire financial world, while also changing the nature of money & power itself Bitcoiners tend to understand this, even if BTC itself cannot achieve this vision

@bsmokes ETH as an app on Ethereum is the right frame. It's not just the token - it's programmable collateral, gas, staking security, and the unit of account for the ecosystem. All in one.

So what is the best reserve currency now? The dollar is weakening, gold correcting 15-20%, silver down over 40%. Oil projections skyrocketing. Bitcoin has no allegiance to any nation. It is digital, neutral, and unseizable. It's the leading candidate for a global reserve asset. Issue is that Bitcoin is not private. Sovereign holdings are fully visible onchain, and every nation state can surveil each other in real time. That doesn't work, especially in a wartime scenario. Encryption is the missing piece.

Nobody in Miami gets excited about clean water. No one posts about their water pressure. Nobody builds a personality around the municipal sewage system. Infrastructure that works well is invisible. The vision isn't a world where everyone is excited about zero-knowledge proofs and talks about cryptographic guarantees at dinner parties. The vision is a world where the privacy layer is so thoroughly built into financial infrastructure that nobody thinks about it - the way nobody thinks about whether their tap water is safe. It just is. You transact. It's private. You move on with your life. Let there be Dark!

Starknet (Privacy arc) 🥷
Starknet is for infinite scaling. Starknet is for massive computation. Starknet is for native ZK verification. Starknet is for decentralization. Starknet is for post-quantum resilience. Starknet is for privacy at scale. Starknet is for Web2 UX and DevX. Starknet is the endgame.

We just open-sourced HYPER-SNARK. 🔬 An experimental ZK proof system built in Rust, fully transparent, no trusted setup, no elliptic curves, no pairings. This is Orbinum's long-term R&D: exploring what a post-quantum privacy protocol looks like. What it is: • Zero trusted setup. hash-based commitments, fully transparent • Post-quantum, BLAKE3 Merkle trees + FRI low-degree testing • Circom-compatible, reads real .r1cs and .wtns files • Open and auditable from day one Today Orbinum runs Groth16 for transaction privacy. This is the research foundation for what comes next. github.com/orbinum/hyper-… #Orbinum #ZK #PostQuantum #Privacy #OpenSource #Rust #Blockchain

You either want Ethereum to win, or you’re okay with the same banks, control, same system, just wrapped in nicer software. The whole point of crypto is that we shouldn’t have to trust corporations with their own incentives. Credible neutral Permissionless Private Ethereum
