Here’s something slightly different I’ve been meaning to try for ages - a remaster of the original 1962 pinhole-camera gun barrel photo from the #JamesBond opening titles. I’ve never seen a full-frame of the actual photo (does it even still exist?) and the Connery version is the only one with all the lovely detail intact. Even by Roger’s debut (pic 2) it looks like a dreadful blown-out photocopy-of-a-photocopy. So this is my attempt, made by stacking 4K grabs from Dr No, with extensive cleaning and tarting-up and recolouring of the bits we only see when the barrel jerks around once the blood has drenched the image. If you’re on a mobile please ‘Load in 4K’ for the full effect. Maybe someone might find this useful? If nothing else it’s quite a pretty thing to gaze at for a while!

Will potential missing episode recoveries affect the animation range? The answer is almost certainly no. Chances are if an episode is recovered from a private collection, it will be an orphan. Let's say if Space Pirates 4 was found, they would still animate the entire story.
