Meet the final two candidates for the Parks and Recreation Director role at an Open House on Thursday, Oct. 10. The open house will be at the Library Community Room from 4:45 - 6:15 p.m.

Crews will close Singer Hill (at High Street) to 10th Street (at Main Street) . An electronic message board will be staged on 7th Street warning northbound drivers of this closure. Detour signs will be installed to direct traffic to alternate routes. (3/3)

The UPRR crew will begin this work on Sunday, Aug 18 at approximately 7 p.m. - working through the night and morning hours. This work is expected to be completed by 5 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 19. (2/3)

Heads up to Oregon City Residents: The City was just notified this afternoon (8-16-24) that Union Pacific Railroad must repair the 10th Street (Singer Hill) railroad crossing. A recent crossing inspection revealed a track condition that needs to be immediately addressed. (more)

Oregon City is hosting another film crew over the next few weeks. The production will be in the area of Division and Gilman on Aug. 15 and 16, the Jackson campus on Aug. 19-23, and 26-27. Finally, they will be in the area of 11th and Polk on .

The contractors will work with residents who have driveways or dead end roads connected to Pease to limit impact as much as possible. Please try to minimize driving on the new asphalt (while it is placed and cools) until the road is reopened to all traffic.

Pease Road will be closed between Leland Road and Mimosa Way on Friday, July 12 from 7 a.m. to as late as 5 p.m. This closure will allow the final surface paving to be completed as part of the work that's been done all week. (1/2)

A favorite event where kids are actually encouraged to not keep their hands to themselves! Oregon City's annual Touch-A-Truck is happening on July 9. from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Library Park. John Adams St. between 6th and 7th will be closed from 7 am to 1 pm for the event.

River Access Park will be closed starting the morning of June 25, until June 28. Clackamas County will be doing landscape maintenance along their segment of the Clackamas River Trail during that time.

Hey @orcity why did the parks department install bollards at Waterboard Park? Was it due to neighbor complaints about noise, or was it a safety issue related to the landslide potential?
