Stablecoins are incapable of settling real FX flow without coordination infrastructure. $250B in global supply, but no real flow. Orda's orchestration will bring real volume & FX flow through crypto rails, allowing a $7.5T market to finally flow onchain. ↓

If you're using DeFi, you're already using smart contracts. Every swap, every deposit, every vote. We wrote the full breakdown - what they are, how they work, and what to watch out for. Full post here: orda.network/blog/what-are-…

But there's a tradeoff. If the code has a bug, there's no customer service to call. What gets deployed is what runs. Forever. Smart contracts replaced "trust the person" with "trust the code." That's powerful and risky.

Ever used a vending machine? Put money in, make a selection, get the item. No negotiation. No trust needed. That's basically what a smart contract is - except it lives on a blockchain.

You clicked swap. The quote said 0.5 ETH. You got 0.497. No error. No failed transaction. Everything looked normal. But someone saw your trade coming and got there first.

You get a worse price. They keep the difference. This isn't a bug or a hidden fee. It's a consequence of how blockchains decide transaction order. And it affects every swap, every user and happens thousands of times a day - Most people never realize.

Most swap interfaces let you set a slippage tolerance - the maximum price change you'll accept before a trade fails. Want the full breakdown? Read it here: orda.network/blog/what-is-s…

There's another factor: MEV (Maximal Extractable Value). Transactions are visible before confirmation. Automated systems can react to large trades and execute first - giving you a worse price. We're breaking down MEV in next week's Tutorial Tuesday.

You hit swap. The number looked right. Then the transaction confirmed - and you got less than expected. Here's what actually happened:
