@Tanaka_L2 whole thing breaks if NAV goes under 1 tho, you said it yourself. why not skip the tradfi wrapper entirely and stake btc natively on @Coredao_Org where you keep custody and dont need saylor printing shares to keep the loop alive
English

Strategy quietly built a $BTC buying machine dressed up as a yield product with $STRC, at least in my perspective.
the whole trick is fixed-income demand gets routed into BTC spot buys through a TradFi wrapper that pays ~11.5% APY and tries to stay pinned around $100.
STRC is a $100-par perpetual preferred, paying monthly cash dividends, with the rate reset every month.
→ if STRC trades weak, they raise the yield → if demand is strong, they just keep issuing more
every time STRC trades near par, Strategy can issue through the ATM program. cash comes in from yield buyers, then gets turned straight into BTC.
after issuing STRC and buying BTC, they issue MSTR equity when it trades above NAV. that premium lets them rebalance leverage and keep the loop alive.
I tracked thru one ~$1B STRC issuance batch funded ~13.9K BTC in April, while the larger ~34K BTC buy was still mostly STRC-driven with some equity on top.
across the program, STRC has already funded multiple billions of BTC purchases, with roughly ~$20B+ of issuance capacity still sitting there.
Saylor basically built a machine: sell yield product → buy BTC → increase BTC per share → keep MSTR premium alive → issue more capital → buy more BTC.
their own math says BTC only needs ~2.05% annual growth to cover the 11.5% STRC cost.
everything above that becomes upside for equity holders, assuming the market keeps giving them access to capital.
it looks insanely powerful in a bull market. but if MSTR’s NAV compresses and stays <1, the flywheel slows, then stops.
they’re effectively selling BTC downside volatility packaged as income. ppl get paid 11.5% to sit on that risk.
Strategy has a ~$2.25B cash reserve to cover fixed payouts, which gives ~2–2.5 years of runway at current dividend levels.
so far everything’s working.
TradFi wants yield, CT wants BTC beta, and Saylor found a pretty elite way to make both sit inside the same flywheel.

@Aleksgansaha @Coredao_Org dual staking requires holding $CORE to unlock higher tiers so who exactly is dumping
English

@Coredao_Org Only Bitcoin holders benefit from Core. This leads to an influx of small Bitcoin holders who receive Core tokens for staking and then immediately sell them. Large, greedy Bitcoin holders wait for the Core price to rise before staking on the CORE blockchain.

$TAO Bittensor and Grayscale: $GTAO is becoming the institutional rail for Bittensor
I went as deep as possible to put this together. Grayscale’s strongest move and conviction for 2026 and beyond is TAO.
More specifically, $GTAO, the single-asset Bittensor Trust built to provide regulated exposure to TAO. Grayscale describes the product as tracking the Bittensor market price, less fees and expenses, through shares backed by TAO per share.
The scale is still early, but the structure is serious. GTAO began trading on OTCQX in December 2025 and became SEC reporting. Grayscale called it the first publicly quoted U.S. investment product designed to provide exposure to TAO. This places Bittensor inside the same product lifecycle Grayscale has used before: private placement, public quotation, SEC reporting, and eventually an ETF path.
April 2026 showed real capital movement. Grayscale Bittensor Trust issued 182,600 shares to accredited investors through private placements. Those shares represented 3,488.07875456 TAO and about $1,000,457 in proceeds. After the issuance, the trust had 2,185,400 shares outstanding.
GTAO shares are backed by TAO exposure. Demand from accredited investors leads to new share issuance. New issuance leads to more TAO represented inside the product. Over time, repeated cycles like this can turn GTAO into a regulated accumulation vehicle for institutional exposure to TAO.
The ETF path is already documented. The April 2, 2026 S-1 amendment states that, once effective and listed on NYSE Arca, the sponsor intends to rename the product Grayscale Bittensor Trust ETF. The filing also states clearly that the Trust’s purpose is to hold TAO and provide investors exposure through its shares.
The comparison with the Decentralized AI Fund is straightforward. The AI Fund is a basket product that expresses the theme. GTAO is a single-asset vehicle that expresses conviction in Bittensor itself.
Grayscale’s own research reinforces this. In its Artificial Intelligence Crypto Sector report, the firm identified Bittensor as the largest project by market cap in the sector and listed Grayscale Bittensor Trust as its primary AI-focused private placement product.
BTC and ETH remain Grayscale’s mature macro products. GTAO is different. It is the emerging institutional product around the decentralized AI thesis.
The facts are clear.
GTAO is a single-asset trust
GTAO is publicly quoted
GTAO is SEC reporting
GTAO has an ETF path
GTAO received new issuance in April
GTAO is tied directly to the leading asset in Grayscale’s AI framework
Are you convinced or do you need more?
If you need more, just wait and watch. You will be late.
Shoutout to @_g_x_g, the dev guy with marketing vision
and to all the haters of irrelevant AI tokens.
