I have really enjoyed listening to all the conference talks of a selected speaker (ex. Elder Bednar) in chronological order. It is fascinating to hear him build on themes each conference.
Elder Bednar- Converted unto the Lord and Becoming a Missionary
President Holland - Lord I Believe, Safety for the Soul and Be Ye Therefore Perfect - Eventually

I have a question. Not doing this for clicks…but working on one of my passions. Since being a member of the LDS Church, what are the talks you have heard of later read that you consider a must read for other members…the messages that have inspired you to a new gospel understanding? The “classic” LDS reading list?

I did an engagement shoot at the Capitol in Salt Lake today.
There were hundreds of teenagers there taking prom pictures, with dozens of professional photographers all over the grounds.
During the shoot, while my clients were taking a break, I saw a young couple trying to set up an older camera on a tripod with a timer so they could take their own photos.
Between the camera, the tripod setup, and the fact that they didn’t have a photographer with them, I got the impression that money was tight.
I asked if I could help by taking a photo for them. I took the girl’s camera off the tripod, made a little show of trying to figure it out, and then said, “I’m terrible at learning new cameras. How about I just use mine instead?”
They happily agreed and I gave them a mini photo session.
When I showed them the images on the back of my camera, their faces just lit up. The young woman offered to pay me and asked for my Venmo.
Of course, I refused. I told her all I needed was their phone numbers so I could send them the finished photos.
I edited them tonight and sent them over a little while ago. They replied right away, thanking me profusely.
I’m so grateful for the talent God has blessed me with. It’s wonderful when photography brings in a little extra money, but the real reward is moments like this, when something you’ve spent years developing becomes a gift you can give away.
Tonight, two kids who might not have been able to afford prom photos still got to leave with something beautiful.
Seeing their smiles and receiving their gratitude was even better than getting paid.

Closing update #ES_F: There's 6690 next support. Readers remember this 6689-90 zone it was the reclaim here Sunday 7pm that gave us the 120+ point long into this weeks highs. Now backtesting from above. 6703 must reclaim this evening to squeeze. Newsletter out soon with entries

The range is finally expanding a little in #ES_F from that chop range and there's 6703 next support down hit. 6716 must recover now to rally again. We already got that reclaim once and we ran to 6735 and rejected.
6690, 6678/72 next down if the retracement continues from here

Muted 1st FOMC reaction. 6716 support & I posted to watch for sweeps of it. Before FOMC, we lost it by 1 point, recovered, and popped. 6735 was first big resistance up, hit. 6743, 6749, 6764-70 if #ES_F wants more. Bears control until 6764-70 recovers. 6703, 6690 supports now

asked my friend what he does for a living
"I get on Zoom calls and give opinions about products"
"and they pay you for that?"
"$300 last call. 30 minutes."
"wait, how much a month?"
"$2,500 minimum"
he's made $110,000 doing this
I stared at my phone for a full minute
here's what he actually does:
THE ZOOM ARBITRAGE SYSTEM:
every morning:
opens 3 platforms (Respondent, User Interviews, UserTesting)
applies to every qualified study (15 mins)
goes back to his day
every evening:
checks for acceptances (10 mins)
schedules 2-3 calls per week
that's it
THE ECONOMICS:
Meta needs feedback on new features → pays $400
Google tests products before launch → pays $300
Apple wants user opinions → pays $250
they make $100M improving products
you make $300 for talking
WHY MOST PEOPLE DON'T KNOW THIS:
Google "paid research studies" → 1,000 scam sites
he spent 6 months finding the real platforms
that's the only barrier
THE MONEY:
$150-500 per study
2-4 studies per week
30-90 mins per call
$1,200-2,500/month
4 years of this = $110,000
WHY PEOPLE FAIL:
they apply to 5 studies and give up
they lie on screeners and get banned
they ghost after getting accepted (instant blacklist)
they don't know which demographics pay more
THE TRUTH:
he doesn't have a business
he doesn't have followers
he doesn't sell anything
he just shows up, talks, gets paid
"the algorithm doesn't know me"
"the platforms do"
comment "ARBITRAGE" and I'll send you the full Zoom Arbitrage breakdown
(must follow for dm)
most people will keep grinding to build businesses while $300 Zoom calls are sitting right there
