I’m here at the Players Talegate Super Bowl event with @OrganicValley! Such a fun day! I'm so glad I can work with a company that truly delivers clean products to our supermarkets that we can all enjoy!
@AFMBlog Thanks for reaching out! We will share your feedback with the right teams in our cooperative. We continue to offer our Pasture Raised milk products in 64oz cartons: organicvalley.coop/products/milk/…
@LABlogger Oh no! We're sorry to hear of the negative experience, that is not the quality you should expect from our products. We'd like to report this to our Consumer Relations team. The quickest way to reach them is via our Contact Us form on our website: organicvalley.coop/contact-us/

@mpg25mary@toobaffled@jo65908680 Hi! We do not use bioengineered chymosin rennet in our cheese. Genetically modified organisms (GMOs) are prohibited in USDA NOP organic products. The microbial enzymes we use are non-GMO and approved for organic use.
Pfizer Quietly Slipping GMO Enzyme Into 90% of American Cheese — And It’s Nowhere on the Label 🧀
Most people have no idea they’re eating a genetically modified enzyme originally developed by Pfizer—yet it’s quietly used in over 90% of American cheese products, and thanks to an FDA loophole, you’ll never see it on the package.

@OrganicValley Hi love your Half & Half but the last container, the milk was not full of cream. It was basically just milk. I don’t know maybe why this happened but just wanted you to know.
We could tell. Thanks.
@BernardMentone@Publix We put a lot of care into our products, from top animal care practices to rigorous quality standards. When you support our farmers, you are choosing foods produced in a way that ensures quality, freshness, and that it’s made with care for people, land and animals.

Can we talk about the fact this milk was $6.00 per gallon last year, now it’s $7.50 per gallon now… can you share why there is there a 25% increase in the cost year over year?
It was already expensive but this is getting ridiculous!

@OrganicValley I have enjoyed your products, particularly the cottage cheese. I’ve had to throw away 3 different items the past week. Cottage cheese looks completely different. And milk went sour very quick. I’m gonna have to find another brand! What is going on??
@hyperbolicnews Hello! We do not use bioengineered chymosin rennet in our cheese. Genetically modified organisms (GMOs) are prohibited in USDA NOP organic products. The microbial enzymes we use are non-GMO and approved for organic use.
Pfizer developed Chymax, a GMO-derived chymosin enzyme (via fermented microbes) approved by FDA in 1990 as safe and GRAS. It's used in ~90% of US cheeses to clot milk, replacing animal rennet. Not in the final product as GMO material. Common in brands like Kraft, Sargento, Tillamook (most varieties). Avoid via "non-GMO" or "vegetable rennet" labels.
Animal rennet is FAR MORE HEALTHY!

@toobaffled I am shocked about Organic Valley. I purchase their milk, however I don't eat a lot of cheese. I do consume their organic yogurt daily.
I have read that the food industry in the US have pressured the FDA to water down what is requirement for organic labeling.

@toobaffled can you clarify the Organic Valley - I see all of the others are not organic. Can they do it to organic cheeses and what questions do we want to ask to make sure it's not been pfizer'd?
